Join us at Myrtle’s and Parker's Bistro on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, for a five-course French Wine Dinner featuring exceptional pairings from the legendary E. Guigal estate of the Rhône Valley, France 🇫🇷.




Our chef has curated a menu that highlights French classics — from a delicate salad paired with Côtes du Rhône Rosé to a rich Coq au Vin with Crozes-Hermitage, and a decadent beef tenderloin with Châteauneuf-du-Pape. We’ll conclude with a special chocolate dessert alongside Côtes du Rhône Rouge.

About E. Guigal — A Legacy of Excellence in the Rhône Valley

Founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal in the Côte Rôtie village of Ampuis, E. Guigal has become one of the most respected wineries in France’s Rhône Valley. After Etienne lost his sight in 1961, his son Marcel Guigal assumed leadership and elevated the family business to international acclaim through an uncompromising dedication to quality.


Under Marcel’s direction, the estate has grown to encompass vineyards throughout the Rhône Valley and, in 1995, the family acquired the historic Château d’Ampuis, now the center of their winemaking operations. Today, E. Guigal is celebrated worldwide for wines that embody the terroir, tradition, and artistry of the Rhône.


This special dinner will feature five Rhône Valley wines from E. Guigal, each paired with a thoughtfully prepared course. The evening will be guided by John Thuringer, Fine Wine Portfolio Manager at Republic National Distributing, who brings both expertise and first-hand experience to the table. John toured the winery in March 2023, led by E. Guigal’s assistant winemaker, and later that year earned his WSET Level III Wine Certification in Atlanta, Georgia.
